I have worked for over twenty years selling real estate in Manhattan. My colleagues and the people I work for know that I am professional, dependable and discreet.

My goal is to find the right home for my buyers and to find the right buyers for my sellers’ homes. My marketing and sales skills transferred from an earlier career in advertising and public relations. My negotiating skills were fine tuned as an executive with an international travel company where I also acquired painstaking attention to detail and full service orientation.

If I am hired to sell a home, I research the building, the neighborhood and all of its positive and negative aspects. The marketing and advertising strategy are “fine tuned” specifically for that property. I am there for every showing.

If you are looking to purchase a property, I help you determine all the important details (where, what type of property, how much you want to spend) and then work tirelessly until we find the right home…and help you negotiate the best price.

I love what I do and I think it shows in my positive attitude and my ability to communicate with my clients and the other members of the real estate community. Most of my business is referrals.

My wife and I were looking to sell our co-op apartment quickly, and Dee came through for us. She was able not only to find a buyer and close the deal in a very short timeframe, but she also kept the selling price in the upper end of our desired range. We’ve owned a number of properties around the country, and Manhattan tends to have many more intricacies to deal with in real estate. There are taxes and fees involved in selling a home that I wasn’t aware of, and Dee did a great job to carefully explain all of those issues to us before we decided on our selling price. Dee was truly concerned with making sure we understood everything involved in the process of selling, and she kept us well-informed the entire time. I would recommend Dee to friends and family without a doubt. She’s a true professional.

Dee helped me both to buy an condo and sell a co-op on the Upper East Side. I have already recommended Dee to my friends because she is ethical, dedicated and in tune with what her customers want. From the start, Dee knew what it was I was looking for and she tried hard to meet my needs rather than simply sell me an apartment. Throughout the process, Dee was very patient. We started working together in January and didn't find the apartment that I wanted until August, but Dee never grew tired up searching. Not once did she pressure me to buy an apartment. We bought our first home with Dee about ten years ago. What we found remarkable about working with her is that she really listened to us. Instead of just going to the regular listings, Dee was able to take our preferences and recall a specific apartment that had just fallen out of contract and become available again. It wasn't an easy find by any means, but it turned out to be exactly what we wanted. We made a bid on the property almost immediately, and that's the apartment we own today. Over the last decade, we've kept in contact with Dee, and she's been a wonderful resource for us. When we thought about remodeling our terrace, we called her to ask if it would be worth the investment. I call her a couple times every year with real estate questions, and she always gets back to me within a couple of days. I completely trust her opinion. I would absolutely recommend Dee to others.

Last year, I was looking to upsize from my apartment to something larger, and I was interested in relocating from Greenwich Village to the Upper West Side. I worked with Dee both to sell my apartment and purchase a new one, and she was very pleasant to deal with. Dee possesses a thorough understanding of the market, and her professionalism is outstanding. Over the course of the past thirty years, I've lived in six different states and owned between ten and twelve homes. In most of my transactions, I would not hesitate to refer to the people I worked with as real estate agents. With Dee, I would change that title to a real estate professional. What resonated with me so strongly was that Dee didn't just show me properties and hope to find one that I liked. She really tried to understand my likes, dislikes, and my lifestyle. She then interpreted all these things to try and find a property that fit me perfectly. My husband and I have worked with Dee both in buying and selling property in the city. Dee truly excels on both fronts. In selling, Dee knew exactly how to advertise and market the apartment in order to create as much excitement and demand for it as possible. She initially set the price at a very modest level, which incited a bidding war between interested buyers and resulted in us getting a much larger offer than what we had ever expected. In buying our next apartment, we too were caught in a bidding war, but Dee was able to shepherd the whole process and help us win the apartment without offering an exorbitant amount. We hired Dee to help us find a pied-a-terre on the Upper East Side. She initially took us to a variety of properties and quickly learned what was of interest to us. Subsequently, she narrowed her list down to properties that were within our parameters, so we saw very few homes that we weren't interested in. That was all extremely helpful. My family has been working with Dee for the past twenty years. Together, we’ve bought and sold property in the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, Midtown, and Downtown. Not only is Dee a great agent, but at this point, she’s become a part of the family. We refer to her as Aunt Dee. As an agent, Dee is careful to never be over-bearing. Instead, she gives the guidance that we want, but then she allows us to make any decisions. She respects our thoughts and choices, and we’ve never felt like we were coaxed into any decision that we weren’t happy with. What Dee really excels at is taking the potentially nightmarish process involved with real estate and handling everything in the most painless way possible. We've worked with Dee in three real estate purchases, and we're currently beginning to work with her on a sale. Our experiences working with Dee have been uniformly excellent. Dee really knows the neighborhoods of Manhattan, and she knows details about many of the buildings. She knows which buildings have difficult Boards and which are more pleasant to work with, but in both cases, she also knows exactly what it takes to make sure a deal goes through. Whenever we've needed to find her, she's been accessible and available to talk. She has a second home outside of the city, but even when she's there, she's still able to help out and answer any questions we might have.
