Caring for people is what drives me to succeed, whether in my role as real estate professional helping buyers and sellers realize their dreams, or in my former life as a nurse helping breast cancer patients overcome their fears and illness. Because continuity of care is so important for me, I hold my customers’ and clients’ hands every step of the way until their goals are met and hearts are satisfied.

I love being the person with whom someone entrusts such a big part of their life. I feel honored to be involved in the process of finding or selling a home, and becoming intimately familiar with my clients’ unique needs. I take my role seriously and am here to help in any way I can. I know the city very well, plus I know how to treat customers with the respect, honesty, integrity and discretion they deserve.

A native New Yorker, I earned dual degrees from Hunter College – a BA in Sociology and Psychology, and a BSN to become a nurse. For 13 years, I worked on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan for the most prominent breast surgical oncologist in the city. As such, I understand the delicacy with which clients must be handled and the concept of always being on call anytime of day.

An Upper East Side resident and homeowner, I have complemented my passion for real estate as an active investor for the past five years. I purchased my own apartment at age 29, and have continued to research the latest statistics and trends. Outside of real estate, I enjoy exercise, shopping, travel, and time with friends and family. I have also stayed involved in fundraising for the fight against breast cancer as a member of the Benefit Committee at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Working with Dianne is excellent. She is accessible, responsive, and she really goes the extra mile for her clients to provide a great service. Dianne has helped me purchase, sell, and sublet properties, and in all of these dealings, she's been more than willing to accommodate any special circumstances or anxieties that arose. I would absolutely recommend her to friends or family. Dianne really showed her abilities when she first helped me to sell my condo in Harlem. Because my buyers were currently selling their co-op space, Dianne was pro-active in helping them to work through their Board process while simultaneously setting up a deal in which they would pay me to keep my property off the market. She worked with the lawyers to make sure this happened, and she calmed my frustrations when the process seemed to drag out. I was very happy with the way Dianne handled such a complicated situation.

When I first purchased in the city, I worked with a family member who was involved in real estate. Dianne was the first agent I formally hired, and the experience was absolutely great. Buying and selling with her was quick and easy, and I couldn't ask for much more than that. Dianne was recommended by a colleague as an expert in Harlem. She was extremely savvy regarding each block within the neighborhood. At one in particular, she knew there was a popular bar just down the street so it would be noisy on weekends. I valued that type of information. With Dianne’s help, the purchase decision was made very quickly. Dianne and I decided to sell my apartment after purchasing a new one. She knew exactly how to present my apartment and made some great suggestions how to make the apartment look more appealing, such as emptying the closets to make them appear larger and buying more flattering light bulbs. Like the purchase, the sale was extremely fast. The closing of the purchase took more time than we anticipated and, during that wait, I dragged Dianne to nearly every new development in Harlem. She was more than happy to show me the spaces, which allowed me to make comparisons and convinced me that my original decision to purchase was the right one for me. I really appreciated having that generosity on her part. I would absolutely recommend Dianne to friends or family. She was always available, even on nights and weekends, and I would use her again if I ever decided to sell my space.

Dianne was everything I could've asked for in a real estate agent. She was extremely prompt and responsive, and her knowledge of the real estate market in Manhattan was outstanding. Dianne knew every building's history, technical quirks, and architectural details. She was able to educate me in real estate law and the processes involved in purchasing a home, as well. I always felt like Dianne was on my side. She was emotionally supportive of me, and I had complete confidence in both her abilities and her commitment to me. Working with Dianne was a real pleasure. I've worked with many different brokers throughout my life, and she is someone who I would very highly recommend. Because I was moving from the suburbs into the city, Dianne showed me a variety of properties so that I could narrow down what I wanted, and she was very perceptive of what I liked. Her knowledge of the Upper East Side was remarkable, and anything she wasn't absolutely sure about, she would research for me before responding. Once we settled on a property, Dianne remained smart and energetic. I think Dianne was really on the ball throughout my purchase, and I've already recommended her to a friend of mine. I had to buy quickly, as I had relocated for work, and I had no experience in New York's urban real estate environment. I didn't know the value of having a doorman versus not having one, and I had no scale with which to gauge values of apartments. Dianne explained to me various price points in different neighborhoods, and she showed me safe areas of Harlem that I could live in and feel comfortable. She took me to every building that was available within my price range and that possessed the amenities I had asked for, and her knowledge of real estate and Harlem was a great resource. If Dianne was ever unavailable and I wanted to look at a property quickly, she had a partner who was able to go with me to see the space. Dianne made sure, however, to come to the closing of my purchase in person, and I appreciated that support.
