I have been selling Manhattan real estate for the last 20 years. My primary business is residential sales of apartments, lofts and townhouses. I have many repeat customers and I gain many exclusive sale listings from these referrals; however, I also enjoy working with buyers. Over the years, the average price range of my individual sales has increased and currently, most of my business is in the $1.5-3 million range. Having said that, if someone refers me to their daughter or son wanting a studio or a one bedroom apartment I am happy to help. In my 20 years in the business, I have sold roughly $200-300 million of Manhattan real estate and have completed more than 500 transactions. I have also been named the "Broker of the Year" in the Greenwich Village office, won the "Broker of the Month" award numerous times and have been a consistent member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club since I joined the Corcoran Group in 1995.

Gabriella helped us sell our duplex apartment in the West Village after we decided to relocate to Connecticut. We have worked with Gabriella since early February and expect to close soon. It has been an ongoing process -- getting our apartment ready to show, subsequently putting it on the market and then selling it. Gabriella was involved from the very beginning of the process and our experience has been absolutely phenomenal. Gabriella was very proactive, professional, involved and responsive. Gabriella helped me find a new co-op apartment in the Flatiron district some years ago. Since then I have used her on other occasions, but I never ended up buying anything. Nevertheless, I have to say that I would unhesitatingly recommend her and have on many occasions. My ex-wife was a real estate broker and so was my then girlfriend so I had had some experience with the business and I understood what went on and how things were done. Gabriella has the patience of a saint and I was a pain in the neck. I didn’t know how to buy an apartment but she advised me to take a particular apartment that we saw. She has been absolutely, 100 percent correct on all accounts. She actually has been so good and so helpful that I called Barbara Corcoran personally. It has truly been the best experience I’ve ever had working with a broker. I have young kids whose school is far away from our condo in Union Square, so we decided to rent it. Gabriella helped me find a tenant for that apartment and I’m planning to go back to her in a year or two to sell the property or to buy an adjacent property to the current one and merge the two. When we decided to find a tenant for our condo, we interviewed several brokers and Gabriella was far and away the best. With a condo, you have lots of control but at the same time, I didn’t want to be a landlord. I wanted to be very hands off so finding the right tenant was crucial. With Gabriella’s help, we superseded every expectation in terms of the price we’d get, the amount of people we’d have bidding for the apartment and how quickly we would rent it. There is no question we will work with Gabriella again. She’s very professional, works 24/7 and is always available. She’s also very resourceful, extremely knowledgeable and straightforward so I would recommend her to anybody. It is a new world with what has gone on in the financial climate and there is not a lot of data on rent per square foot, and how and why things sit on the market for so long. Gabriella definitely gathers her information and is razor sharp so you are in really good hands. We’ve dealt with so many brokers and she is really sensational.

Gabriella completely understood the type of apartment I was looking for. Everything she showed me, she was showing for a good reason. She was wholly in tune with what I wanted because she had listened to me so well when we first started working together, and I found that to be very helpful. Gabriella never embellished a space or tried to paint a picture for me that didn't exist. Because of that, I was able to trust her, and found her to be very deserving of that trust. Both times I’ve worked with her, Gabriella was an absolute pleasure. A number of things made her stand out to me, from her amicable personality to how market savvy she was. The first time I worked with Gabriella, I became involved in a bidding war, and the buyer I was bidding against was the client of the listing broker, so I really thought that it was a lost cause. Gabriella got her management involved with the process and eventually convinced the listing broker to agree to a blind bid. She helped me figure out what perks to put into the deal, such as a no-mortgage contingency, and we ended up beating out the other buyer. In my second purchase, I was re-negotiating after the market had collapsed, and I came to a point where I wasn’t willing to offer any more for the apartment, but the seller wasn’t willing to take my bid. Gabriella could’ve advised me to offer more in order to get a faster sale, but she told me to stay firm on my price, because the sellers were more eager to sell than they were admitting. She was right, and soon the sellers accepted my offer. I would recommend Gabriella to friends and family without a doubt. Her track record with resolving difficult situations has been flawless for me.
