Specialties
I have been selling residential real estate in Manhattan since 1994 and have closed in excess of $600 million in sales. I work with both buyers and sellers focusing mostly downtown below 42nd Street but have represented a number of clients and customers on both the Upper West Side and Upper East Side as well.
As a resident first of Greenwich Village and then Chelsea for 20 years, I first started selling real estate in my neighborhood--initially lofts. As my client base grew, I expanded to selling more traditional apartments and townhouses as dictated my customers' needs. I have an extensive knowledge of the inventory of property below 42nd Street and have experience with many of the boards of these buildings. I often have clients return to me when they sell to help them find their next home.
I have extensive knowledge of the market and neighborhood amenities, which customers find valuable as they begin relocating to Manhattan. I have relied on the extensive national and international network that Sotheby's International Realty has built and have a reputation for matching clients' needs and expectations with the right home in a convenient neighborhood to suit their new lifestyle here in New York.
I have successfully referred customers who purchased in the Hamptons, Westchester, Connecticut, Florida, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Hawaii, Italy, France, and London. My firm's motto is 'local experts worldwide' and I find that the relationships that I have developed with agents around the globe has broadened the scope of services I can offer my customers as they come and go from New York.

Agent's personal statement
For sellers, I have a proven track record for attaining the best price possible. I factor in all financial implications of a sale so that my clients can evaluate the best course of action.
For buyers, I am unrelenting in my availability to show and pursue properties that match a customer's requirements. As a resident of Manhattan for 20 years, I match client needs to a property's characteristics, using both my professional expertise and personal understanding of an area's amenities.
I can refer clients relocating away from New York to an agent that will handle their real estate needs globally: I have successfully referred clients to Hawaii, Asia, Europe, California and the Hamptons. By relying upon the strength of the global Sotheby's International Realty brand, I am in the unique position to provide service locally and beyond New York's borders.
In 2007, I was selected by the Real Estate Board of New York to work upon improving the client and customer experience with regard to the sale and rental of New York City property. Only 30 agents were chosen to attend and receive the NYRS designation, showing their commitment to ethics, market knowledge, and negotiating skills.
A graduate of Cornell University, I earned Bachelor's degrees in both Applied Statistics (with honors) and Psychology. I am a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

"Glenn is a cultured and savvy Downtown agent. He's great with sellers, but given his patient nature, he's particularly good with buyers as well. Glenn has a winning way that combines a gentle demeanor with real estate street smarts. He was educated at Cornell in engineering and worked in management consulting prior to real estate so he brings a unique skill set to the business."
