Specialties
As a native New Yorker, I have always been fascinated by real estate. Today, I know the obvious aspects of NYC real estate such as the buildings and the neighborhoods, but also the intricacies such as how to choose a good floor plan versus a poor one, and how to successfully combine apartments.
Because I speak Greek and because many of my clients are from overseas and want a place to call home in Manhattan, I am very familiar with the pied-a-terres in the city. I know which co-ops allow pied-a-terres and which condos cater toward pied-a-terre buyers.
I have spent every summer of life in Europe, so I have a good understanding of various cultures and business etiquette. I have been working with International buyers since they really started purchasing in NYC 15 years ago. I understand their needs and provide full service to them after the sale because I can project what they're going to need. I understand fears and concerns and am able to put them at ease and make the transaction as smooth as possible.
Because of my of architecture background, I can really help executors and Estate attorneys understand the positive aspects of the property being sold because often, these properties are in need of work.

Agent's personal statement
Having been born and raised in Manhattan, and because my entire family lives here, to me, New York isn’t simply the greatest city in the world – it is home. I’ve seen the ups and downs the city has gone through, and I having worked as a real estate agent since 1985, I have worked through many different real estate cycles. I actually started in a down cycle but managed to nonetheless succeed. That experience taught me the most important lesson in real estate: location, location, location.
Prior to working in real estate, I worked in my family’s food importing business which provided me with a good business background and a keen sense of the bottom line. While buying a home is an emotional investment, I recognize that it is also a financial one. That is why I make sure my clients are making good decisions. In addition, I studied architecture and art in school, so I have a strong aesthetic sense and can quickly hone in on people’s likes and dislikes. I also know that small changes (a door here, a change in lighting there) can make a huge difference in how an apartment shows. I rely on my keen sense of space when “staging” my clients’ homes because my job is to help my clients to achieve the absolute highest price for their home.
Throughout my nearly 30 year career, I have worked with clients from all walks of life, from first-time buyers to major celebrities. I have loved working with them all and still do.
