Specialties
Our practice is devoted to representing properties for sale on behalf of our clients. We excel in representing artist's lofts, both cooperatives and condominiums, as well as conversions. We bring a sophisticated comprehension of real estate and legal history to every deal we represent, as well as highly developed marketing, staging and styling skills honed over decades in art, advertising and design.
We are licensed as development sales people and have worked with developers in forming the plans to be filed with the New York State Attorney General for condo conversions and construction. We have a working relationship with many architects, designers and developers and with whom we have collaborated on many projects. We also bring this expertise to existing co-ops and condos and have advised many boards. We uniquely brand each condo we represent to best position it in the market and generate the highest sales price possible.
We are both graduates of Cornell University's College of Architecture Art and Planning. Further, Ginnie comes from a highly acclaimed background in fine art, advertising and production, and design, so we understand the unique real estate needs of art collectors.
We originally became involved in New York real estate because of our expertise in lofts -- we were involved in lobbying for the original legislation that legalized them. Artists and other loft dwellers sought us out to help legalize and sell their spaces. We are familiar with all of the history, attorneys and landmark considerations that surround this fascinating property type.
We have designed, planned, filed and implemented the creation and sale of penthouse properties in downtown Manhattan and in landmark settings. We have longstanding relationships with landscapers and garden suppliers as well as construction managers and expeditors, not to mention architects and roofers. Nothing is simple in Manhattan, especially penthouses.

Agent's personal statement
Together, we comprise one of Halstead's most successful and effective sales teams. Consistently ranked among the top brokers in all Halstead in completed sales, we focus specialize in representing Manhattan's premier downtown properties as well as 'boutique lofts' and 'special properties.' We place a broad array of services at every buyer's or seller's disposal, be it legal, design, construction or architectural resources.
Our experience has taught us that one of the most important services to bring to our sellers is to shape the availability and perception of their property in such a way as to maximize their sale price and minimize the stress and trauma that can come from an undisciplined sales plan. There is really nothing complicated about real estate. It is about protecting the interests of your client and understanding their needs and the demands of the current market environment.
