I have sold numerous properties around the City in the $8-20 million range. This requires a high degree of knowledge of current market conditions, buildings, properties sold (on the market and those not on the market), neighborhood conditions and "upsides." Working with many high profile clients, I understand the value of time, knowledge, accurate and up-to-date information, and discretion. Lofts comprise a large portion of the inventory of the Downtown real estate market. Old, traditional lofts have evolved into highly sophisticated homes with superb building amenities. And while the old loft still does exist, it co-exists with this new and unique breed of extraordinary real estate. Understanding the unique characteristics of a loft building are critical to making good decisions when buying or selling.
Townhouses represent a very small portion of the inventory of properties in Manhattan. They have their own very specific pros and cons, and buying or selling one requires a detailed understanding of these issues. The location of a house, the direction it faces, it's width, ceiling heights, and the ownership profile are all important elements in making smart decisions about townhouses. We have sold and helped purchase some of the best townhouses throughout the city, especially in Greenwich Village, one of the prime areas because of the protected light afforded by building height limitations.
