What I appreciated about Michael is that he's not a pushy person; instead, he's professional and always courteous. He attended to my needs, and both times I went into contract with him, he went above and beyond the call of duty. He worked with the co-op Board of a property I was hoping to purchase, and with another property, he went to the sellers' attorney to pick up paperwork that was causing delays. On the sale side, Michael held quite a few open houses, and he remained extremely involved after he got the listing. I was so happy with Michael's work that I referred somebody from Florida to him.

Michael did an outstanding job evaluating the condition of the property, helping me to set and to reset the prices, and encouraging me to go forward with an offer when he knew the client was valid. One of the problems with co-ops is that you don't always know if the client can pass the Board, and this was a particularly difficult building, but Michael showed the property in excess of 70 times, because it had a lot of deferred maintenance. In that sense, he was invaluable to me to give me guidance in terms of what we should and shouldn't fix, and how to position the property in the best possible light. He's a true professional, he doesn't get emotional about a sale - he's a steady person to go back to when you need that insight into the market.

Working with Michael was wonderful. He's a very nice guy, and he was very professional. For example, even though I've given him permission to call me by my first name, he still uses my last as a formality. At the time of our sale, we had a child, and Michael was very accommodating to this. He made sure to let us know well in advance of any showings or open houses he'd scheduled, and he always made sure that those times were convenient for us. Within just one or two days of us signing with him, Michael had a ton of people coming through the apartment, so we really appreciated his consideration of our needs. When things started to stall out, Michael advised us to revise our price, because our window for selling was starting to close. We encountered more complications - our first buyer decided to opt out at the last minute - but Michael held our hands through the whole process, including the ups and the downs. The whole experience was great.

Working with Michael was a very good experience. He helped me from the early phases of selling the Chelsea condos I had helped develop, and I found him to be very cost-effective. We sold the properties with few marketing materials - most of the marketing was done online, which saved a lot of money. Also, Michael was involved in the early financial aspect of the development. He helped work out the numbers in terms of how many properties he could sell and for what price, and put all of that on corporate stationary, which was tremendously helpful for the bank to see. I was extremely satisfied with his work, and will still meet with Michael to bounce around ideas for the next market peak.
