Specialties
My expertise as a savvy marketer, seasoned investor and market-smart developer and builder provide me with a distinct edge when it comes to serving buyers, sellers and investors in the Manhattan luxury condo market.
I am a recognized collector of contemporary art. My collection includes Picasso, Giacometti, Sam Francis, Caldor, George Segal, Andy Warhol, Jean Arp, Botero, Jim Dine, Hans Hofmann, Motherwell, Wesselman and others. I have been a board member and supporter of The Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Connecticut for twenty years. I have an aesthetic sense that will recognize your needs. I have successfully remodeled penthouses and townhouses for my clients and I can provide the expert guidance that you require to create the home you desire for you and your collection.
I am one of the few top brokers consulted by the top luxury condo developers about apartment size, pricing and amenities. This gives me the advantage of having the earliest possible access to deals and an inside knowledge of which apartments to choose. My clients can be confident that I am accessing the best prices. My record of value projection is unrivaled. I know this market well and often personally invest in new condos.
The Manhattan luxury residential market can be a confusing challenge to foreign investors. I have successfully enabled international clients to comfortably move through the process of buying or selling and board package approval. I offer complete guidance from beginning to end and I can introduce legal, tax, mortgage and insurance professionals who speak your native language. My native language is Japanese. If you make an investment that requires management I can find an appropriate tenant, collect rent and make expense payments.

Video profile
Agent's personal statement
The purchase of a luxury Manhattan residence is a solid financial investment. When the purchase is for personal use it becomes a lifestyle decision as well.
I have an experienced perspective of the cultural and social development of neighborhoods after twenty years of residential real estate experience in Manhattan, Greenwich and Beverly Hills. I am able to guide buyers and sellers through a transaction because I understand the market in all of its complexity. Throughout my career I have successfully predicted the value growth of various neighborhoods because I understand the underlying factors that drive the market.
In addition to my experience as a broker I have been a successful investor in Manhattan condominiums and townhouses, and suburban estates. My clients trust my judgment because I have personally owned and invested in Manhattan real estate.
I have renovated luxury properties in Manhattan and developed suburban luxury homes and have a practiced eye for aesthetic considerations. I have served on the board of The Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Connecticut for twenty years and am a recognized collector of contemporary art.
It’s a pleasure for me to assist my clients and their families with their residential real estate needs. I am most proud of my many long-term relationships in which I have helped generations make the right choices. My staff and I will follow your transactions with experienced guidance from beginning to end.
For foreign investors and many American investors I provide complete guidance including recommending a real estate lawyer, a tax lawyer, a mortgage broker and an insurance agent – a complete beginning to end service. The professionals will speak the appropriate foreign language as needed.
After an investor purchases a property I manage it if necessary. This includes finding a tenant, collecting rent and paying expenses to maintain its condition.
This is how I have become one of the top 1% of brokers nationwide and one of Prudential’s top ten brokers.
