Since I broke into this business, my motto has always been "It's all about you!" Whether you are a first-time buyer purchasing a studio or an executive trading up to a $4 million penthouse, I will guide you every step of the way through the process. Throughout my career, the awards that I've earned such as "Rookie of the Year" and "Chelsea Salesperson of the Year" have been the result of my unwavering commitment to my clients and achieving their goals.
When you or your child has to consider allergies when looking for a home you need an educated EcoBroker to guide you through the options. While there are a limited number of buildings in NYC which were built specifically with those needs in mind, it’s important to work with someone who knows that market. I became the first certified EcoBroker in NYC over three years ago and have been involved in green and sustainable living since the 90’s. My knowledge covers not only air quality but also the ways in which we can minimize our homes' carbon footprint. While my first goal is to find or prepare a home for my client which is comfortable and a good investment, if we can accomplish this while being socially conscious to the global impact of our choices then I feel I’ve done my job threefold.
I cut my teeth in real estate by selling studios at London Terrace Towers. It was the perfect training ground for attending to the needs of young professionals who, while on the fast track in their careers, had little time for the details involved in board packages. As my business developed, my buyers recommended me to their friends as someone who they could trust with their first investment in NYC real estate. Whether the market is robust and prices are on the rise or inventory is swelling and opportunities are increasing, an experienced realtor can offer guidance based on history. I take great satisfaction in knowing that when the sale is completed my buyers come back to me for advice on home insurance and a myriad of other decisions…including their next home.
Many of my clients' business or lifestyle requires a second home in the city, where they can spend a few days to work or relax. Others are buying for their children to stay while in school or starting out with the hope of using it personally in the future. London Terrace is one of just a few co-ops which allow this type of purchase. Over the years I've served many families in finding the right home for the right reason.

Agent's personal statement
My motto is “It’s all about you.” Whether you’re buying or selling, I will take you from inception to completion with an eye on your future in any type of market. I have marketing smarts, high energy and the ability to produce in an ever-changing and competitive New York City market.
As an established member of Corcoran's Multi-Million Dollar Club, my success in real estate is the natural culmination of my business endeavors. In the early 90’s when environmental concerns were taking hold, I opened a green business in upstate New York where I developed and sold all natural and recycled products for the home and garden. It was very exciting to work with artists and suppliers to find and create products that not only added beauty to one’s personal environment but also were globally responsible.
My passion helped to launch an on-going Earth Day Celebration in Kingston, NY and cultivate a devoted customer base. Shortly after returning to Manhattan I entered the world of real estate. I quickly worked my way up the ranks, first earning the title of Corcoran Vice President after a mere two years in the business, then being named Chelsea/Flatiron Salesperson of the year in 2006 and Corcoran Senior Vice President. In the first and second quarters of 2008 my achievements earned me the distinction of being named one of NRT’s Top 1,000 Sales Associates out of 54,000 and I continue to hold that rank in their top 2%.
In 2006, I integrated my passion into my business by becoming New York's First Certified Eco-Broker. My classes prepared me to define, locate and mitigate environmental hazards as well as training in ways to build, retrofit and develop sustainable living spaces.
Over the years, I have devoted myself to bringing green initiatives to my own home, London Terrace Towers, in hopes of creating a “healthier” building through energy conservation and efficiency. This effort began with my gift of over 750 CFL bulbs to the London Terrace Towers tenants and now includes a management driven program. I continue my efforts by speaking at events and teach consumers about green living with my comic strip - The Adventures of the Green Queen at www.susansingerspaces.com.
